Finance Taskforce Manager
EOS Hospitality is seeking a Finance Taskforce Manager to oversee and improve the accounting processes within their hotels. This role involves assessing and implementing efficient accounting practices, ensuring timely financial reporting, and providing guidance to the accounting team.

Responsibilities
Assess the hotel’s Accounting and control processes at entry, and throughout assignment. Make changes and retrain staff as needed to implement correct, more efficient processes
Thoroughly review the daily Income Journal process and ensure that the interfaces with other systems are working correctly, all transactions are being recorded correctly, that Taxes are being collected, and that any manual adjustments are reasonable and rare. And ensure all supporting documents are being properly routed and/or filed
Ensure that Accounts Payable are properly approved, invoices booked and paid on a timely basis
Ensure that Accounts Receivable are turned from Guest to City Ledger timely, billed timely, and proper collection processes are in place
Review key payments (i.e., state and local taxes, insurance, regulatory-related items, affiliates, key service providers) and ensure they are being made timely
Complete the month-end closing cycle in a timely and accurate manner. Produce the draft P&L along with required analysis, close after approval by the Regional Vice President Hotel Finance/Regional Director of Finance (RVPF/RDOF)
Produce the final P&L and create, or assist in creating, any ownership reports
Complete all Balance Sheet Reconciliations in the online system in a timely manner, and ensure that they are fully supported, in keeping with guidelines
While filling in the role of Acting Director of Finance, provide guidance, oversight and training to all accounting team members
While filling in the role of Acting-Director of Finance, assist the General Manager and hotel Steering Committee in completion of forecasts and budgets, as needed
Assemble any required audit supporting documentation and provide it to auditors, if needed, and as directed by the RVPF/RDOF
Support property on weekly/monthly forecast deadlines
Support property on budget process
Support property on labor analysis and cash forecast requirements
