Responsibilities
Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to uphold financial integrity
Prepare and post journal entries with precision and attention to detail
Manage account reconciliations to ensure accuracy across all financial records
Utilize QuickBooks Online to handle day-to-day accounting tasks and reporting
Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting models to support financial planning
Collaborate with team members to ensure financial compliance and efficiency
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
Assist in managing the financial operations of multiple campuses, including virtual and physical locations
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a managerial role
Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and general ledger maintenance
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software
Demonstrated experience with budgeting and forecasting processes
Expertise in preparing and posting journal entries
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate account reconciliation
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role
