HR Credentialing Coordinator

Responsibilities
Ensure timely completion of credentialing to support onboarding and continued compliance
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and provider information
Stay current with CHAP standards and changes in accreditation or regulatory requirements
Coordinate initial and ongoing credentialing and re-credentialing of healthcare providers in compliance with CHAP, CMS, state, and payer requirements
Maintain credentialing and personnel files to ensure survey readiness for CHAP accreditation and recertification
Assist in preparation for CHAP surveys by organizing documentation, performing internal audits, and correcting deficiencies
Track and monitor licensure, certifications, competencies, background checks, health screenings, and expirations
Collaborate with HR, Compliance, Clinical Leadership, and Quality teams to ensure alignment with accreditation standards
Prepare reports and documentation for CHAP surveyors and respond to credentialing-related findings or requests
Must execute responsibilities with a sense of urgency and pay attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Perform other HR Compliance or HR program support-related duties or projects as assigned
Assist in the design and implementation of process improvements by working closely with stakeholders to assess, develop, and implement process changes or remediation plans for identified HR-related issues, including, but not limited to, workforce licensing requirements
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and related HRIS or credentialing systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with tact and professionalism
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing HR and organizational needs
Strong organizational skills and ability to produce high volumes of work accurately with minimal supervision
Willingness to learn and contribute to evolving HR processes
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
At least 1 year of experience in credentialing, HR compliance, healthcare HR, or similar administrative work
