Strategic Account Manager
LHH is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to develop and execute comprehensive account plans while cultivating strong relationships with key decision-makers at client companies. The role involves driving revenue growth and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, identifying opportunities for expansion, and aligning with overall business goals
Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at client companies
Drive revenue growth, manage pricing, negotiate contracts, and close deals by understanding and proposing innovative solutions
Work closely with internal teams (Technical, Supply Chain, R&D, Operations) to deliver exceptional customer experiences and fulfill commitments
Act as the voice of the customer internally, communicating needs and feedback to refine strategies and offerings
Track key performance indicators (KPIs), forecast sales, and ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and responsiveness metrics
Leverage deep product and industry knowledge (e.g., metals, packaging, chemicals) to provide compelling value propositions
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in key account management within manufacturing or a related industrial field
Strong technical background or understanding relevant to the products/industry
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term profitability and customer retention
Ability to work in a complex, team-oriented environment
Preferred
Preferred BS in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
