Responsibilities
Work closely under the guidance of Technical Field Service Department Management shadow a TBS Field Service Technician while learning to service and repair office equipment (B & W, Color and Multifunctional devices), ID Badge and fingerprint systems/equipment
Learn about departmental processes and procedures along with corresponding controls
Successfully complete all assigned service training (classroom and webinars) as required by TBS Management
Complete basic dealer and manufacturer training on specified systems as required
Learn and become proficient in maintaining car inventory, tools, and test equipment to ensure they are in service-ready condition
Under FS Tech guidance, learn and practice PM procedures and repair techniques to build proficiency for field assignments
Conduct job responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner according to TABS safety policies and procedures
Comply with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulations, program standards, and specific safety concerns identified by TABS for use in specific areas or with clients/customers
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Job involves frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
Must be comfortable in learning new skills
Must have good communications skills
Basic math skills
Requires a valid state driver's license and minimum level of auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions entailing extensive use of personal car while on company business
