Energy Management Intern

Responsibilities
Assisting with analyzing load data, tracking participation metrics, and preparing visual reports to help evaluate program performance
Researching emerging technologies and benchmarking other utilities’ strategies
Assist with marketing and member engagement by drafting educational materials, coordinating social media campaigns, and organizing outreach events
Manage administrative tasks such as tracking incentive applications, maintaining documentation, and compiling customer feedback to identify barriers and opportunities for improvement
Assisting with software implementation to ensure smooth integration of program systems and tools
Contribute to ongoing data visualization efforts that help track and communicate program performance
Qualification
Required
Successfully completed two (2) to three (3) years of undergraduate study towards a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Data Analytics, Business Administration and Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Familiarity with, or interest in learning data visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI or Tableau to create clear and insightful reports
Strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting complex data sets and ensuring accuracy in reporting
Highly motivated self-starter who has a willingness to learn
Working knowledge of databases, including SQL
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Preference will be given to students who attend accredited colleges and universities in Tri-State's service territory which includes Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and New Mexico
