Senior Optical Integration and Test Engineer

Responsibilities

Optical alignment and testing
Implementation of automated test and assembly processes
Development of analysis tools and analysis of test data
Design of EO subsystems test fixtures
Perform troubleshooting and process investigations
Support production related activities in the assembly and documentation of EO subsystems

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years experience with Optics Systems, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering Physics or related discipline
Experience in system integration and test or data analysis
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Master of Science in Optics Systems, Electrical, or Computer Engineering Physics or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Competency in analysis tools such as MatLab and experience writing C++ and/or python
Experience with EO test equipment, test automation scripting
EO hardware and software integration and verification experience
Experience with laboratory measurement equipment or techniques for EO subsystems
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Current/Active DoD security clearance or SSBI
ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
