Responsibilities

Create and facilitate virtual small-group and individual reading intervention sessions for students in grades 3–8
Apply reading assessment data to pinpoint fluency and comprehension deficits and modify instruction promptly
Adapt activities across varying reading levels, including accommodations for dyslexia and associated reading challenges
Monitor progress using clear, systematic methods and leverage data to inform subsequent sessions
Facilitate structured motivation touchpoints that foster confidence, perseverance, and pride in development

Required

Bachelor's degree in education, literacy, or a closely related field
Reading intervention certification or endorsement (e.g., Arizona Reading Specialist K-12 or equivalent state certification)
Specialized training or certification in dyslexia intervention (or related structured literacy approaches)
At least 2 years of experience delivering small-group or one-on-one reading interventions for students in grades 3–8
Experience supporting students with dyslexia or related reading difficulties
Ability to interpret progress monitoring data and use it to plan and adjust instruction
Strong ability to engage and manage students in a virtual setting through clear, motivating communication
Full-time availability during U.S. business hours (Monday–Friday; 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. PT)
