Responsibilities
Conduct one-on-one and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating effective techniques and recognizing measurable progress
Create and lead play-based learning sessions that integrate social-emotional learning, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, serving as a practice model for your team
Audit and align Guide documentation each week to ensure rubric consistency and clarity, facilitating calibration meetings to maintain visibility of milestone achievement
Develop family communications and facilitate team huddles that synchronize efforts and uphold collective commitments to schoolwide PreK readiness targets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline
At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a related area
Demonstrated experience working directly with young children between the ages of 3 and 5
Documented success in designing and executing play-based educational programs or curricula that support developmental milestone attainment, such as Montessori approaches
A minimum of 1 year coaching or supervising a team of educators with accountability for performance outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to support transparent family engagement and team coordination
Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
Availability to work onsite at the Alpha Austin campus, with relocation support offered as needed
Preferred
Master's degree or specialized certification
