Provide technical and confidential administrative assistance to the school dean
Assume major responsibilities in performing a wide variety of tasks associated with the SBMET office, managing day-to-day activities as well as short- and long-term projects
Demonstrate a broad knowledge of policies and procedures of the college
Maintain and implement project timelines for all SBMET projects
Research and provide analysis of statistics for dean’s reports
Assist the school dean in achieving division and college goals
Coordinate communications with relevant stakeholders in internal and external environments
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree or three or more years as an administrative assistant in an academic setting
Minimum three years office and administrative experience
Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills; interpersonal skills
Decision-making and problem-solving ability
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure with competing demands
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Proficient in the use of Colleague and Business Object Tools
Budget Management Skills
Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
