Strategic Business Development and M&A Manager
TÜV Rheinland North America is one of the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification service providers. The candidate will play an instrumental role in strategy and business development, particularly in M&A transactions.

Responsibilities
Develop strategies to achieve growth goals by entering new services/ markets, identifying (cross-border) investments etc
Build and maintain relationships with senior executives of companies to identify strategic partnership and investment opportunities
Act as the primary liaison between these companies and TÜV Rheinland’s teams, including business operations and corporate functions
Ensure seamless communication and coordination between these companies and internal teams, bridging cultural and language gaps
Deep understanding of all phases of M&A transactions, including sell-side, buy-side, joint venture establishments, and divestitures
Act as PMO for integrations of newly acquired companies/ joint venture establishments etc
Qualification
Required
At least 4 – 7 years of experience in strategy, and/ or an M&A environment, including experience playing a key role in executing transactions
A pragmatic, execution-oriented strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, understanding approaches to facilitate strategic problem-solving and collaborative strategy developments
Good knowledge of business strategy, from data analysis and industry challenges to business direction and problem-solving
Ability to structure and lead projects with cross-functional teams, leveraging cross-functional expertise while exercising influence without formal power
Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, formal presentation, and project management skills
Proven ability to produce high-quality and impactful professional documents for external and internal use
Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills in English, additional languages is a plus
A master's degree, ideally in finance, business administration, or a related specialization from a reputable university
Preferred
Professional qualifications such as CPA or CFA are a plus
