Responsibilities

Provide hands-on VMware infrastructure support, optimization, and troubleshooting
Support operations, integration, and test (I&T) activities
Perform system upgrades, patching, and configuration management
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve technical issues
Develop and maintain clear technical documentation
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
Ensure compliance with security and operational standards

Required

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
OR Master's degree with 2+ years of experience
OR 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Strong experience supporting VMware infrastructure in production environments
Experience working with Windows and Linux systems
Experience supporting integration, test, or mission-critical environments
Strong documentation and communication skills
Ability to work onsite and obtain/maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred

VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP)
Experience with cloud or hybrid infrastructure
Background supporting government or defense programs
Automation or scripting experience (PowerShell, Python)
Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks
