Administrative Supervisor 2 (Finance Division)

Responsibilities
Develop, implement and monitor internal controls, policies and procedures of the Court Held Funds unit
Allocating resources (human, financial, materials and equipment)
Assign, regulate and review work duties
Define objectives for work performance for staff
Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promoting and discipline
Conduct formal work performance evaluations
Advise management on deadlines, rules or regulation updates and related information
Answer questions posed by the public, other customers, staff or management
Participate in statewide committees
Perform other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree including or supplemented by 21 credits hours in accounting, business administration, economics, public administration and/or finance
Twelve of these credit hours must be in accounting
Three years of professional experience, one year of which shall have included experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting, cash management and/or financial analysis

Driver's License: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position
Authorization to Work: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations
Newly hired employees must agree to a thorough background check that will include fingerprinting
In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), the 'New Jersey First Act,' all persons newly hired by the Judiciary within one year must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey
