Responsibilities
Provide legal consultations and representation in immigration matters (family-based, humanitarian, employment-based, and/or removal defense)
Prepare and file petitions, motions, briefs, affidavits, and supporting documentation
Represent clients before USCIS and related federal agencies
Maintain accurate case files, timelines, and compliance standards
Collaborate with advocates, social workers, and community partners
Participate in community legal education and outreach as needed
Stay current on immigration law, policy updates, and best practices
Qualification
Required
J.D. and active bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to work with diverse, multilingual communities with cultural humility
Commitment to immigrant rights, community advocacy, and nonprofit values
Preferred
Immigration law experience preferred (nonprofit or legal aid experience a plus)
Spanish or additional language skills strongly preferred
