Quality Technician - Production
AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing is a leading global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier. They are seeking a Quality Technician who will be responsible for auditing and containment processes on the production floor, contributing to process improvements, and assisting with quality assurance.

Responsibilities
Auditing of material on production floor
Contribute to process improvements
Assisting with quality assurance
Write / review non-conformances for containment and prevention
Quarantine materials and assist in final disposition as necessary
Complete analysis of scrapped parts to determine defect and cause, recording results
Ensure the production measurement systems are in compliance with all Safety/regulation standards
Commit to the corporate goals, mission and vision
Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the Company
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail
Strong computer skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in a cooperative, team oriented, fast paced environment
Willingness to take ownership of your role including performance and attendance accountability
Leadership skills
Knowledge of Hard Turning, Green Turning, Broaching and Part Finishing machining processes
Excellent attention to detail
