Responsibilities
Direct supervision and responsibility for 2 Cell Leads/Front Line Leaders
Collaborate and communicate with upstream and downstream leadership
Utilize knowledge of manufacturing principles, manufacturing support team roles and responsibilities and manufacturing systems in support of daily execution
Execution and sustainment of product focused processes, tooling, equipment and test architecture
Complete personnel performance input for all related functions and career development of team members including coaching and mentoring
Perform a wide variety of improvements, efforts and initiatives related to the factory manufacturing system
Assist with labor forecasts and Estimates at Compete (EACs) for the touch employees
Execute priorities relating to safety, people, quality, delivery, and cost
Interact with support engineering, supply chain, and quality with respect to project schedules
Qualification
Required
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Experience with either Manufacturing or Operations
Experience as a Supervisor or Manager, in a Manufacturing or Operations environment
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
Previous experience leading a direct team with specific deadlines, requirements or deliverables
Familiarity with manufacturing and industrial engineering practices
Familiarity with quality requirements relating to manufacturing environments
