The Advocacy & Outreach Specialist will promote the organization's mission and values through coordination of advocacy plans and initiatives, build relationships with external organizations, and analyze trends affecting healthcare.

Responsibilities

Promote the Mission, Vision, Values and Philosophy of the organization, the Daughters of Charity, and organization through coordination of advocacy plans and initiatives on healthcare
Help to build effective relationships in support of the organization's advocacy plans and initiatives with external organizations and individuals including elected officials, other health care providers, trade associations, and pertinent public and private agencies
Develop the capabilities within the organization to identify public policies, programs and trends affecting healthcare that are likely to have a major impact
Perform research and analyze trends; provide reports and recommendations to leadership
Serve as a catalyst for action in areas of community health and safety

Required

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
