Environmental Scientist/Engineer

Responsibilities
Lead or support permitting and reporting across soil, water, wastewater, solid waste, and air programs
Prepare permit applications, technical reports, and compliance submittals
Review site conditions, sampling needs, and regulatory triggers
Coordinate with regulatory agencies, including ODEQ, EPA Region 6, and the USACE Tulsa District
Mentor junior team members and support team development
Support project schedules, workloads, and quality control
Assist with data review, documentation, and regulatory tracking
Stay current on state and federal regulatory updates
Qualification
Required
Three years of environmental compliance or engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field
Experience with state environmental quality rules or permitting
Strong writing and communication skills
Comfortable working with clients, regulators, and team members
Strength in at least one core regulatory program with interest in expanding
Preferred
Multi-program permitting experience
Coordination with regulatory staff
Field sampling experience
