Responsibilities

Play a critical role in driving towards public company readiness, including preparing initial filings, SOX compliance, and building scalable disclosure processes
Build and lead a robust SEC reporting and disclosure framework, including the design and execution of end-to-end disclosure preparation processes and thorough review of consolidated financial results at the group level to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Establish and oversee a cross-functional Disclosure Committee to support the timely, accurate, and compliant preparation of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, coordinating comprehensive reviews with external auditors, legal counsel, investor relations, and key internal stakeholders
Lead and manage a globally distributed Technical Accounting and Reporting team, providing expert guidance on complex accounting matters and ensuring consistent application of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements across all jurisdictions
Participate in the Management board, AC, and BoD decks preparation
Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, including newly issued accounting pronouncements
Research, prepare, and review technical accounting positions for our significant accounting policies, including revenue recognition, potential business combinations, and equity-related issues
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Product to evaluate accounting implications of new initiatives and communicate impacts to leadership
Own key technical accounting areas, including stock-based compensation (SBC), acquisition accounting, leases, capitalized software, and other complex or judgmental estimates
Support acquisitions, including due diligence, purchase accounting, and post-acquisition integration of financial results and processes
Support the monthly and quarterly close process, identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance reporting timelines, accuracy, and automation
Assist with PCAOB audits, including preparing technical accounting work papers for the auditors
Ensure the internal controls related to accounting policies and financial reporting are designed, implemented, and operating effectively for SOX compliance
Drive special projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, automation, and accuracy across the Accounting function

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field preferred
15+ years of professional experience with a mix of audit and experience in one, or more of the following: Technical accounting for a public filer, SEC reporting for a public filer, Audit firm's National practice, relevant Advisory experience
Active CPA license
Strong technical accounting expertise. Experience in US GAAP technical accounting research and drafting technical accounting position memos
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to drive to conclusions on technical matters and convey complex concepts to a variety of audiences, including our auditors, management, and business partners
Strategic business partner. You should be able to explain technical concepts to non-accountants
Effective Cross-Functional Partner. Proactive relationship builder who invests in getting to know cross-functional partners and listens to understand what's most important to them. Works to establish trust, reliability, and partnership with folks across our business

NetSuite experience is a plus
IPO experience is a plus
Some familiarity with IFRS is a plus
