Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 (O365) / Exchange, ensuring secure and reliable mail flow
MUST HAVE: Experience migrating newly acquired entities from various email platforms into Microsoft Exchange
Respond to and remediate email security incidents (phishing, policy violations, etc.)
Implement and manage DMARC policies to improve deliverability and security
Troubleshoot and administer Zscaler for secure and reliable user connectivity
Administer Microsoft Entra ID: users, groups, roles, authentication, and conditional access
Serve as top‑tier escalation for Service Desk issues and acquisition‑related needs
Act as primary engineer for Arctic Wolf alerts, coordinating investigations and remediation
Serve as primary administrator for Mimecast and Microsoft Exchange (mail flow, policies, incident response)
Own Zscaler platform configuration, tuning, and support
Manage Microsoft Purview: eDiscovery, legal holds, data retention, and disposition
Administer Google Workspace and Google Cloud Console to ensure secure configuration and access
Provide administration support for QuickBooks (technical + billing)
Manage Microsoft Security / Defender for Cloud, including outbound spam controls, quarantine, and remediation
Support development teams with Entra ID integrations and secure authentication
Manage application registrations and access configurations
Own Conditional Access, access reviews, and authentication policies
Support and administer Microsoft Teams collaboration environments
Manage domain registrations, transfers, and lifecycle maintenance
Oversee SSL certificate management and renewal
Qualification
Required
10+ years in Systems Engineering or Systems Administration with ownership of enterprise systems
Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID, authentication methods, and Conditional Access
Proven expertise with Exchange, Mimecast, Microsoft Defender, DMARC, and related email/security technologies
Hands‑on experience executing email migrations (tenant‑to‑tenant, M&A migrations, large‑scale)
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills with ability to lead complex initiatives
Preferred
Experience with Zscaler or similar security platforms is a plus
Experience supporting M&A integrations and tenant/email migrations
Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Arctic Wolf, Google Workspace, and cloud security tooling
