Responsibilities
Execute end-to-end project cargo shipments across international air and ocean freight, from feasibility and routing through final delivery and close-out
Coordinate oversized, out-of-gauge, heavy-lift, breakbulk, and high-value cargo movements with multiple technical interfaces
Support turnkey and semi-turnkey project logistics solutions, including pre-carriage, main carriage, on-carriage, and site delivery
Manage multimodal transport solutions involving ocean chartering, air chartering, heavy haul trucking, rail, barging, and port handling
Prepare and review operational documentation including method statements, lifting plans, stowage calculations, route surveys, and risk assessments
Act as the primary operational point of contact for EPCs, OEMs, engineering firms, and industrial shippers
Coordinate with carriers, terminals, surveyors, crane providers, transport engineering partners, and customs authorities
Control timelines, milestones, cost tracking, accruals, and margin protection throughout the project lifecycle
Support tender responses, RFQs, and technical submissions with accurate operational input and feasibility analysis
Proactively manage operational risk, delays, and exceptions, providing clear escalation and solution-driven communication
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export controls, customs procedures, and internal governance standards
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in project cargo or industrial freight forwarding, with a strong focus on air and ocean execution
Hands-on exposure to oversized, out-of-gauge, heavy-lift, and breakbulk cargo movements
Working knowledge of heavy haul trucking, rail transport, and site logistics, even if not a primary daily function
Strong understanding of project logistics terminology, sequencing, and execution risk
Experience working with EPC contractors, OEM manufacturers, energy, industrial, infrastructure, or capital equipment projects
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines
Commercial awareness, including cost control, margin protection, and change management
Confident communicator capable of operating with senior stakeholders and technical counterparts
Comfortable working in a fast-scaling, entrepreneurial project environment with high accountability
Applicants must have direct hands-on exposure to oversized, out-of-gauge, heavy-lift, breakbulk, or engineered project movements executed within the U.S. market
