Relate to clients
Implement matters with minimum supervision
Research and prepare memoranda on complicated tax matters
Ability to advocate tax positions orally and in writing
Develop and implement estate planning techniques

Qualification

JD from law schoolLL.M. in Taxation5+ years estate planningAdmitted to practice in NJDrafting estate planning documentsResearch skillsWriting skillsCommunication skills

Required

JD from a law school
Must be admitted to practice in New Jersey
5+ years of experience in estate planning and estate administration including drafting sophisticated estate planning documents
Excellent research, writing and communications skills

Preferred

LL.M. in Taxation or candidate for LL.M. in Taxation preferred
Admission to practice in New York and/or Florida is a plus
Experience in the preparation of gift and estate tax returns
Experience in federal and state tax issues as it relates to the taxation of trusts
Experience in corporate and partnership tax issues with respect to mergers and acquisitions
