Responsibilities
Develop embedded software in assembly, C, and C++ in a real-time operating system environment for broadband satellite communication modem systems
Work closely with ASIC, communication systems and software teams to support system bring-ups, end-to-end integration, and testing
Ability to adapt design and test activities based on current HW/SW capabilities delivered by the development teams
Support end-to-end testing using lab equipment such as Vector Signal Generators and Analyzers, Packet Generators, Channel Emulators
Contribute to development-test bring up procedures with Linux, Python, bash scripting etc
Support operations and maintenance using telemetry to validate link performance over key indicators such as throughput, latency, etc
Qualification
Required
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
