Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Nutanix clusters and associated components (AOS, Prism Central, Prism Element)
Configure and optimize advanced Nutanix features such as Disaster Recovery (DR), Lifecycle Management (LCM), and Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Implement Nutanix Flow for microsegmentation and network security
Utilize Nutanix Calm for application automation and orchestration
Perform capacity planning and performance tuning across Nutanix environments
Develop automation scripts using Nutanix APIs and Terraform to streamline operational tasks
Troubleshoot issues related to Nutanix infrastructure, storage, and networking
Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies
Integrate and manage storage solutions including Object Storage, NFS, S3-compatible storage, and Nutanix Unified Storage (NUS)
Experience with backup solutions such as Cohesity
Ensure compliance with security best practices and RBAC within Nutanix environments
Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, policies, and operational procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Nutanix solutions with business-critical applications
Stay current on Nutanix technologies and emerging trends in HCI and cloud integration
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience in Nutanix architecture and engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Prism Central, Prism Element, and Nutanix AOS
Familiarity with Nutanix Flow, Calm, and automation using APIs and Terraform
Understanding of DR strategies, LCM, IAM, and capacity management
Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar)
Experience with Cohesity and advanced storage integrations (Object, NFS, S3, NUS)
Preferred
Nutanix certifications (e.g., NCP, NCM-MCI) preferred
Exposure to Terraform or other automation tools
Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments (e.g., Nutanix NC2, Azure)
Knowledge of networking fundamentals and storage concepts
Interest in containerization and Kubernetes integration
Knowledge of other hyper-visor platforms (e.g., Broadcom's VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Openshift Virtualization)
