Responsibilities

Leading, coaching, and supporting facilities staff across multiple LJA office locations through regular check-ins, goal setting, and performance management
Overseeing facility operations such as repairs, remodels, buildouts, preventative maintenance, and service desk ticket resolution while ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met
Partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to address facility needs, manage projects, review invoices, and support budget and capital planning
Responding to facility, safety, or weather-related incidents and coordinating with the safety team on inspections, emergency plans, and recovery procedures

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of previous facility manager or construction manager experience in commercial office environments or similar property portfolios, including team management
Proven experience building, leading, and managing facilities teams across multiple locations
Strong knowledge of facilities operations, preventative maintenance programs, and vendor management
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, AutoCAD, and service desk ticketing systems
Working knowledge of OSHA standards and general safety practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritize and organize work across various locations

Preferred

A Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Corporate Real Estate, or Project Management
Experience developing budgets, managing capital expenditures, and overseeing RFPs and contracts
Hands-on ability to use tools for repairs and routine maintenance tasks
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate client and stakeholder needs
