Beaker Data Innovation Analyst

Responsibilities
Analyze Epic Beaker data (Clinical Pathology and Anatomic Pathology) to support operational, quality, financial, and clinical initiatives
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics for laboratory stakeholders
Translate laboratory business questions into data requirements and analytical solutions
Validate data accuracy and integrity across Beaker, Clarity, Caboodle, and downstream systems
Identify opportunities to use data, automation, and advanced analytics to improve laboratory workflows and outcomes
Support innovative use cases such as turnaround time optimization, workload balancing, utilization management, and quality monitoring
Collaborate on the design and implementation of predictive, prescriptive, or AI-enabled analytics where appropriate
Standardize metrics, KPIs, and definitions across laboratory operations
Partner with Beaker application analysts to understand build, workflows, and data structures
Support enhancements related to reporting, instrumentation integration, autoverification, and rules-based logic
Serve as a liaison between lab operations, IT, and enterprise analytics teams
Build and maintain reports using Epic reporting tools (Radar, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer) and enterprise analytics platforms
Write and optimize SQL queries against Clarity and Caboodle
Support data governance, documentation, and best practices for laboratory analytics
Qualification
Required
Deep knowledge of Epic Beaker Laboratory Information System (LIS)
Strong data, analytics, and problem-solving skills
Experience analyzing Epic Beaker data (Clinical Pathology and Anatomic Pathology)
Ability to develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics for laboratory stakeholders
Capability to translate laboratory business questions into data requirements and analytical solutions
Experience validating data accuracy and integrity across Beaker, Clarity, Caboodle, and downstream systems
Ability to identify opportunities to use data, automation, and advanced analytics to improve laboratory workflows and outcomes
Experience supporting innovative use cases such as turnaround time optimization, workload balancing, utilization management, and quality monitoring
Collaboration skills for designing and implementing predictive, prescriptive, or AI-enabled analytics
Ability to standardize metrics, KPIs, and definitions across laboratory operations
Experience partnering with Beaker application analysts to understand build, workflows, and data structures
