Responsibilities
Partners with Store and Department managers to execute seasonal Prototype presentations
Executes departmental and storewide visual merchandising programs and departmental floor moves that will help engage the customer
Update and maintain mannequins/forms/presentations as dictated by new receipts or trends and targeted demographics
Educate departments on Back to Basics standards, floor sets, merchandising and wallscaping
Execute cosmetics and promotional calendars
Execute window presentations (where applicable)
Grid fixtures/adjust accent lighting
Order visual properties following Corporate guidelines
Perform daily morning floor walk of entire store to determine tasks to be accomplished, i.e. presentations are properly maintained
Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the stock/work area
Attend meetings and training sessions with Corporate Visual
Email communication and basic paper work
Qualification
Required
Experience in merchandising and styling, with knowledge of current trends
2 years of visual merchandising experience (preferably a department store environment)
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, highly organized with an attention to detail
Ability to read and understand floor plans and planograms
Comfortable operating a computer, open to learning new programs and systems
Ability to work as part of a team, or independently with little supervision
