As a Long-Term Substitute Behavior Coach, you will support students by modeling positive behaviors and fostering a structured environment, ensuring continuity during staff transitions.
Primary/Secondary Education
Responsibilities
Provide direct mentorship and consistent guidance to students to promote positive behavior and decision-making
Maintain accountability and close supervision of students throughout the school day
Support classroom management, assist teachers, and help create a structured, safe learning environment
Monitor, document, and report student behavior and interventions using school-approved systems
Respond to behavioral or crisis situations using Safe Crisis Management practices
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Genuine passion for helping children and adolescents with behavioral or learning needs
Calm, caring, and patient approach, with a strong sense of professionalism
Excellent communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills
Basic computer proficiency for documentation and progress tracking
