Responsibilities
Initiate and maintain client communication regarding medical documentation
Collect, organize, and manage medical records and billing for 50-100 active case files
Collaborate with Case Managers to ensure all medical data is properly entered and updated
Obtain and track third-party subrogation lien amounts
Assist in the preparation of settlement demand packages
Perform clerical tasks related to case files, billing, and medical documentation
Qualification
Required
Detail-oriented and motivated
Ability to support Case Managers
Ensure accurate, timely handling of client medical files
Initiate and maintain client communication regarding medical documentation
Collect, organize, and manage medical records and billing for 50-100 active case files
Collaborate with Case Managers to ensure all medical data is properly entered and updated
Obtain and track third-party subrogation lien amounts
Assist in the preparation of settlement demand packages
Perform clerical tasks related to case files, billing, and medical documentation
Must be able to work in the office Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Preferred
1-2 years of experience in personal injury
Strong computer skills; proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience with Filevine or Abacus Law is a plus
Highly organized self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual English / Spanish preferred, but not required
