Responsibilities

Streamline financial processes to achieve a consistent month end close of 5 business
Manage NetSuite and integration with our custom built website. Continue to monitor and improve integration
Work closely with the finance team to implement robust financial controls and reporting systems
Prepare analysis and report package to help the leadership understand what is changing in the business MoM and YoY
Develop processes and procedures to manage a growing, high volume made to order Business
Collaborate with auditors and tax firms. Manage the annual audit and tax return filings
Manage and mentor finance department staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA required
Proven experience as a Controller or similar leadership role in finance, with direct involvement in financial systems integrations, preferably with NetSuite
Experience managing and mentoring a fully remote team
Experience managing an audit, ideally with a Big 4 audit firm
Strong analytical skills and exceptional detail orientation down to the journal entry level
Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
Superior organizational and time management skills; capable of meeting tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments
