Responsibilities
Cash Application – reconcile brokerage commissions and payments against manufacturer accounts
Respond in a timely and professional manner to various inquiries from manufacturers and retailers
Generate and distribute monthly or quarterly bills to manufacturers based on complex commission calculations
Ensure accurate manufacturer data is in the order processing system (MCS) and all internal trackers in accordance with contracts
Collaborate with orders processing team to ensure all data is entered appropriately in the order processing system (MCS)
Analyze monthly/quarterly reports from retailers and/or distributors to create accurate manufacturer bills and confirm compliance with contracts
Maintaining and updating various process trackers
Review and follow-up with manufacturers on orders due for commission payment
Support and back up order processing team as needed
Assists with related special projects as required
Performs other duties as assigned by manager
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent college-level coursework, or 2-3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency in Excel is required and demonstrated experience, training, and/or coursework in Accounting Software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite of products
Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)
High attention to detail and ability to summarize data for consumption by management
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize within time constraints
Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools
A track record of performance meeting targets and objectives
Self-directed, goal-oriented, and flexible; enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
