Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll/benefits
Lead and manage procurement and contract management processes to align with defined guidelines and deliver best value to the Center
Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records
Work closely with external auditors for year-end audits
Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Minimum of three years of accounting and finance experience
Advanced Excel skills
Preferred
Supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
Experience in governmental accounting
Proficiency in accounting/payroll software, specifically Financial Edge NXT and ADP Workforce
