Sales Development Representative
Standard Electric Supply Co. is a family‑owned wholesale distributor of electrical and automation supplies with 16 locations across WI, IL, and IN. They are seeking a motivated Sales Development Associate to identify and qualify prospects, build strong customer relationships, and support account managers through outreach and CRM activities.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects / customers to meet or exceed sales goals set by direction of sales
Develop knowledge of electrical products and value-added services that set us apart from the competition
Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products and services
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market through outbound follow-up
Research products and customers to identify how our solutions meet their needs
Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and rekindling relationships at underservices accounts to create new sales
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Experience with CRM or sales‑tracking tools
Knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry
