Production Supervisor
Cordia LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to assist the Plant Manager in ensuring the safe and reliable operations of the steam and chilled water plant. The role involves managing projects, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with various stakeholders to optimize plant performance.

Responsibilities
Document safety hazards, near misses, and incidences in our EHS software program
Serves as a member of plant leadership team and can fill in for Plant Manager or other department managers
Interacts with management to provide guidance on equipment failures and maintenance activities. Prepares subsequent equipment failure reports and update maintenance records
Supports management of the steam and chilled water plants and customers, ensuring plant equipment and customer meters receive proper preventative maintenance and calibrations
Assist in water chemistry improvement projects as well as plant chilled water and steam system efficiency projects
Responsible for managing plant, distribution, and metering projects – manages project scope, schedule, and cost ensures compliance with specifications, codes, regulatory requirements, testing requirements, etc
Interface with plant personnel, customers, and vendors relating to the operation of steam and chilled water equipment, piping distribution and auxiliary equipment, and arrange for customer outages in coordination with other departments
Assist in coordination of routine and emergency maintenance of the distribution system with customers and contractors including scheduling and inspecting of distribution piping repairs and replacements
Maintain active working relationships with local government and other local utilities. Support event response to distribution system leaks and obtain street opening and traffic permits by consulting with city engineers, traffic directors and police departments when excavations of distribution facilities are required
Participate in all plant "morning meetings"; staff meetings, training programs, etc. and as required by the Plant Manager
Assists in the development of plant production reports; monitors, trends, and interprets plant and customer data. Supports monthly customer billing of district energy customers
Participate in plant design, distribution system designs, and equipment improvements
Provide technical and marketing support for the development of steam and chilled water service proposals and contracts and other duties as assigned by Plant Manager
Possible travel to project sites, customer locations, consultant locations, as needed
Qualification
Required
Possess leadership skills and knowledge to assist the Plant Manager with various tasks to ensure continuity of the steam and chilled water plant and distribution systems to ensure safe, reliable Operations of the company
Display knowledge and capabilities related to engineering design, project management, procurement
Have a strong background in data analysis
A thorough understanding of operational and maintenance functions of district energy plants
Knowledge of company and government regulations including environmental and industrial procedures

Basic understanding of electrical and or mechanical engineering theory
Strong background in MS Office suite applications especially Excel
Must demonstrate capability to communicate/collaborate well with others, including all Plant personnel, potential or existing company customers, regulatory authorities, contractors, etc
Knowledge of district energy systems
Experience in Data Analytics
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
10 years of experience in District Energy Plant O&M and/or Distribution or a combination of all
Valid state driver's license is required
Ten (10) years Project management experience
Preferred
Engineering or Technical degree/schooling preferred
Previous leadership in a plant environment and/or formal leadership training is preferred
Ten (5-10) years' experience with Fiix, Net Suite or similar enterprise software is preferred
