Creating compelling, on-brand design assets across print and digital channels
Supporting marketing initiatives and ensuring brand consistency throughout the company’s communications
Working closely with the marketing team to produce designs that create generous and remarkable materials from pre-press through completion
Maintaining the visual image and standards of the organization
Upholding and evolving brand standards
Initiating, leading, and upholding safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 4-7 years of related experience
Ability to provide strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both print and digital design
Understanding of digital ad specifications, responsive design, and basic UX principles
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with Figma or similar tools
Solid foundational visual design skills – e.g., typography, layout, color, and information hierarchy. Illustration skills are a plus
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or related field
Creative inventor and innovator with the ability to articulate big and breakthrough ideas
Knowledge of HTML/CSS for web asset optimization
Familiarity with marketing automation or CMS platforms
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
