Responsibilities
Handle replevin matters related to utility meters, including recovery of company property, access enforcement, and service termination proceedings
Prepare and file court papers, including orders to show cause and replevin petitions
Appear at court hearings as needed within the New York area
Work closely with internal legal and operations teams on time-sensitive matters
Support high-volume workflows in a regulated utility environment
Qualification
Required
Active New York law license, in good standing
2-5 years of replevin experience, preferably in the utility or regulated services context
Working knowledge of New York replevin procedures, including meter seizure and access enforcement
Comfortable attending in-person court hearings when required
Able to move quickly, manage deadlines, and execute efficiently
