Responsibilities

Provide leadership, technical expertise, and strategic guidance for an Army Air and Missile Defense program currently in the production phase
Ensure systems and components meet performance standards by overseeing production line validation, supporting design reviews, and participating in configuration audits
Conduct technical evaluations of supplier proposals, coordinate production program management efforts, develop and implement production strategies, and conduct trend analysis to identify and mitigate risks
Engage with prime contractors through Integrated Project Teams (IPTs), Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs), and Failure Review Boards (FRBs), evaluate engineering changes, review deliverables, and mentor other engineers

Required

BS or BA degree
10 years' experience in defense manufacturing, reliability and/or industrial operations
Experience with proposal Technical Evaluations
Some travel
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Preferred

Experience with defense system production planning
Experience with production proposal evaluation
Experience with Production Line Validations (PLV) and First Article Inspections (FAI)
