My Assistant Specialist

Responsibilities

Review and respond to financial professional emails received into MVA-subscribed advisors’ inboxes within a timely manner
Prepare physical mailings
Log all time spent with advisors into My Assistant Time Tracking system
Give support in preparation of client meetings for MVA-subscribed advisors
Aid MVA team in performing administrative tasks for MVA-subscribed advisors, including assisting in opening accounts, updating accounts, filling out paperwork, money movement requests, research action needed items, answering MVA emails, bolstering business, and communicating with vendors
Follow up to ensure all tasks and requests are fully completed within service level agreement (SLA)
Act as the subject matter expert on all business processes, as well as all web services platforms
Assist financial professionals in the navigation of Osaic’s internal and external processes
Prepare documents for esignature
Solicit and log all requests for technology or process enhancement

Required

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required
3 -5 years experience in the financial industry required; knowledge of all registrations, account types and investment products, as well as how each security works

Possess a strong sense of initiative and be a self-motivated, self-starter who can work independently and anticipate needs, as well as work well with team members
Ability to take direction based on the goals of the broker/dealer and RIA
Must be able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
Excellent organizational skills and ability to solve problems
Ability to understand and present complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities
Strong presentation, speaking and writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate information clearly
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Technically proficient with digital media and web-based communications systems
Customer service, training and/or education experience
Knowledge Netx360, Wealthscape, eQuipt, and OneView web services

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant practical experience will be considered in lieu of degree
