Responsibilities
Install, terminate, and test AV cabling (including HDMI, VGA, audio, and CAT6/6A)
Experience installing AV systems in conference rooms, huddle spaces, training rooms etc
Mount and install projectors, screens, monitors, speakers, and other AV equipment
Rack and wire AV systems, patch panels, and headend equipment
Program and commission AV systems (Qysys, Crestron, Extron, AMX, etc. a plus)
Troubleshoot and service existing AV systems
Read and interpret AV system blueprints and wiring diagrams
Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, offices, conference rooms, event spaces, etc.)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of commercial AV installation experience
Experience with AV systems integration, troubleshooting, and programming a plus
Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
Willingness to travel to job sites within Texas as needed
Preferred
Experience installing AV systems in conference rooms, huddle spaces, training rooms etc
Program and commission AV systems (Qysys, Crestron, Extron, AMX, etc. a plus)
CTS certifications a plus
Manufacturer certifications (Qysys, Crestron, Extron, etc.) a plus
