Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the accuracy of field survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
Performs complex quality control (QA/QC) of drawings/documents
Manages the activities of field crews, including providing job assignments, information, direction, and daily checking of work product
Directs and conducts surveys for clients
Leads and is responsible for a functional area without having any subordinate employees
Uses broad technical knowledge to identify hazardous situations and directs safety procedures and company standards
Qualification
Required
Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrates expert knowledge and understanding of project requirements, including budget, design requirements, and complete project submittal
Excels at assembling and leading teams
Broad technical knowledge and understanding of field survey methods, calculations, field instrumentation, GPS, and robotic total stations
Broad technical knowledge of local survey laws, rules, and regulations
Proficient in relevant software programs including AutoCAD Civil3D, Trimble Business Center, and related software

Preferred
8+ years of relevant experience is preferred
Currently licensed PLS/PSM in Florida or ability to become licensed in 2 years
