Assistant Golf Shop Manager
Oakland University is seeking an Assistant Golf Shop Manager to assist in daily clubhouse operations. The role involves managing tee times, collecting greens fees, and supporting inventory management and golf events.

Assist Golf Operations Manager and Director of Golf in daily inside/outside clubhouse operations, including open and close the golf shop
Collect greens fees, make tee times, etc
Assist with inventory management/special ordering
Assist with golf events, tournaments, and leagues
This position will require weekends
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Golf Management, Business, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Golf Management
Ability to work with computer software technology (ie.Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Access)
Experience with tee time reservations systems software (such as ClubCaddie)
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred
Master's degree
Degree in Golf Management or a related field
Prior experience managing personnel and evaluating performance
Ability to interact in a variety of social settings, support institutional strategic plan, and meet the business mission and goals
Previous experience at a golf course facility
