They are seeking a Human Resources Manager for their Neenah facility to oversee HR activities, advise management on employee relations, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Plans, organizes and controls activities of the human resources department including company directives. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems
Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
Identifies requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions to ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
Assists with site performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the company
Conducts employee exit interviews. Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover
Assists with evaluation of site compensation programs and rewrites job descriptions as necessary
Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures
Participates in recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt positions and summer hires
Focuses on career development and training programs to enhance the skills of our team
Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department
Supports payroll processing in UKG
Maintains professional and up to date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required
Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7 manufacturing operation is required
Demonstrates professionalism in all interactions

Required

A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or Organizational Development from a four-year college; or five plus years related experience and / or training in a large manufacturing organization. HR certification a plus
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), and Outlook email and calendar capabilities
Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information
Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients
Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs, and develop solutions and/or options
Excellent interpersonal skills
Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment
