They are hiring an HRSS Generalist to assist with the daily duties of running the HR Department, ensuring positive employee relations and supporting various HR processes.

Responsibilities
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
May assist with new employee background checks
Assists with the HR system processing of terminations
Schedule termination paperwork to be mailed
Assist with implementation of of HR process and procedures company-wide
Responsible for filing terminations, LOA’s and appraisals in employee files
Be a resource for managers when looking for appropriate documents and or guidance involving terminations and Leave of Absence
Assist with Workman’s Compensation claims
Partner with the benefits teams to ensure benefits terminations are scheduled
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
Attention to detail
Working understanding of Human Resources principles and procedures
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Excellent problem solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent work experience
At least 2 years of prior HR experience
Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing
Working in front of a computer 7+ hours/day
Preferred
Familiarity with Google Suite is a plus
