Responsibilities
Coordinate, perform, and observe technical engineering work in the field or office
Inspect, observe and ensure a construction project is constructed in accordance with contract plans and specifications
Maintain accurate daily record of the work (labor, equipment, materials, quantities)
Identify contract change orders and assist in their preparation/implementation
Communicate effectively with the Contractors, Owners, Construction Manager, Project Documentation Engineer, or other field engineering staff
Prepare field note records for progress payments
Coordinate for required materials sampling and testing
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an accredited associate, bachelor's, master's, or certificate program with coursework applicable to the internship area
Interest in gaining practical experience in your field of study and contributing to DEA's mission
