Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is a leader in mobile technologies and consumer electronics, and they are seeking a Director of Sales for Amazon Memory Products. This role will focus on developing sales strategies, managing partnerships with Amazon, and leading a team to drive revenue growth and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and consumer satisfaction
Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with Amazon stakeholders to ensure alignment on business goals, initiatives, and opportunities
Manage a team of 2-3 direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment while ensuring clear communication of objectives and expectations
Oversee and optimize paid media campaigns on Amazon to maximize ROI and drive product visibility and sales. Collaborate with marketing teams to align paid media strategies with overall sales objectives and ensure efficient allocation of advertising budgets
Track and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) to evaluate the success of sales initiatives and make data-driven decisions to optimize results
Operate with a high sense of urgency to meet or exceed sales targets, resolve issues promptly, and capitalize on emerging opportunities
Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure optimal inventory levels, reduce stockouts, and improve forecast accuracy to meet customer demand effectively
Implement initiatives to improve the end-to-end customer experience on Amazon, including product page optimization, review management, and customer service improvements
Prepare and present detailed reports on sales performance, market trends, and campaign results to senior stakeholders, including Amazon leadership and internal executives. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with broader business goals

Required

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 12 years of experience in sales, marketing, or e-commerce, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share gains
Experience leading Amazon sales team, and knowledge of Amazon marketplace, policies, and best practices
Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing direct reports
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Amazon partners
Proficiency in analyzing market trends, sales data, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions
Ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with business objectives and drive measurable results
Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders, team members, and Amazon partners
Demonstrated ability to operate with a high sense of urgency, adapt to changing market conditions, and prioritize tasks effectively
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals
Approximately 15% travel
