Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project cargo movements across international air and ocean freight, from pre-award planning through execution, delivery, and final close-out
Own turnkey and semi-turnkey project logistics scopes, including multimodal transport solutions incorporating ocean chartering, air chartering, heavy haul trucking, rail, barging, and site logistics
Manage oversized, out-of-gauge, heavy-lift, breakbulk, and engineered cargo requiring transport engineering, lift planning, and route feasibility analysis
Act as the primary project lead for EPCs, OEMs, engineering firms, and industrial shippers, maintaining full accountability for delivery performance
Develop and approve method statements, lifting plans, stowage concepts, route surveys, and risk mitigation strategies
Control project budgets, cost forecasting, accruals, milestone billing, and margin protection throughout the project lifecycle
Lead internal and external project teams, including coordinators, vendors, surveyors, carriers, and transport partners
Support tenders, RFQs, and contract negotiations with technical, operational, and commercial input
Manage project governance, reporting, and documentation in line with internal controls and client contractual requirements
Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate execution risk, delays, and scope changes, providing structured escalation where required
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export controls, customs procedures, and internal governance standards
Qualification
Required
Demonstrable experience managing complex project cargo or industrial logistics projects within the U.S. market
Strong background in air and ocean project execution with multimodal exposure
Proven ownership of oversized, out-of-gauge, heavy-lift, breakbulk, and engineered cargo movements
Experience leading turnkey or EPC-linked logistics scopes from planning through execution
High level of commercial and contractual awareness, including cost control, margin protection, and variation management
Comfortable operating as the senior delivery authority on projects with multiple technical stakeholders
Strong leadership, coordination, and decision-making capability under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and executive audiences
Ability to operate in a scaling, high-accountability project environment
