They are seeking an experienced Senior Search Engine Engineer to design, build, and optimize their core search and discovery platform for a high-volume eCommerce site, directly impacting customer conversion rates and revenue growth.

Responsibilities
Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the Constructor Search and Discovery platform across our eCommerce properties
Develop, test, and tune sophisticated ranking strategies within the Constructor console and through API integrations to maximize search relevance and conversion
Build and maintain robust data synchronization pipelines to feed real-time product catalog, inventory, and user behavior data into the Constructor engine via its APIs
Implement core eCommerce search features using Constructor capabilities, such as advanced auto-suggest, dynamic faceting, personalized results, and A/B testing frameworks
Profile and optimize system performance, scaling, and reliability of the platform's integration points to ensure sub-second response times
Work closely with Product Management and Data Science to translate business goals into actionable search configurations and enhancements within Constructor
Qualification
Required
Experience with search engine technologies, particularly Constructor
Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and search functionalities
Proficiency in building and maintaining data synchronization pipelines
Experience in developing and tuning ranking strategies
Ability to implement advanced search features and A/B testing frameworks
Strong analytical skills to profile and optimize system performance
Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
