Responsibilities
Building backend services that support LLM training, inference, and evaluation workflows
Designing and owning APIs and internal platforms used by engineers and researchers
Implementing async workflows, job orchestration, scheduling, and queue-based systems
Developing high-throughput, low-latency backend services for compute-heavy workloads
Working close to GPUs, distributed compute, and cloud infrastructure
Improving reliability, performance, and observability across production AI systems
Qualification
Required
Strong backend engineering experience with real production ownership
Experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale
Comfortable owning services end to end, from system design to production support
Strong Python experience, or a strong backend engineer able to ramp quickly
Experience working close to infrastructure, cloud platforms, or internal tooling
Startup mindset with high ownership and a bias toward execution
Preferred
Exposure to ML infrastructure, model serving, or applied AI systems
Experience building platforms or internal developer tooling
Familiarity with schedulers, orchestration frameworks, or GPU-backed workloads
Background in data-intensive or compute-heavy systems
