Technical Sales Specialist

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to support and grow their customer base for Volume Graphics software. The role involves leading consultative sales engagements, delivering tailored software demonstrations, and collaborating with various teams to ensure customer success.

Responsibilities

Drive new business and customer acquisition through outbound sales efforts and inbound lead conversion
Provide consultative solution selling tailored to industrial CT scanning workflows across various industries
Deliver live and remote product demos, highlighting software capabilities in defect analysis, dimensional metrology, simulation, and reverse engineering
Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales lifecycle—from discovery and proposal through closing and onboarding
Collaborate with marketing teams to support campaigns, webinars, and trade shows that generate leads
Work closely with application engineers to ensure technical alignment with customer needs
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Volume Graphics capabilities and competitive differentiators
Accurately forecast and manage sales pipeline through CRM systems
Provide voice-of-customer insights to product and engineering teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in technical software sales, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments
Demonstrated experience in solution-based sales and understanding of complex customer applications
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical value into business impact
Comfortable working in a remote environment and managing time and tasks independently
Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer visits, trade shows, and team meetings

Preferred

Working knowledge of industrial CT scanning, non-destructive testing (NDT), or 3D imaging technologies
Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is a plus
