Technical Recruiter
Confidential is an IT professional services firm that supports the U.S. Government and commercial partners. They are seeking a driven, resourceful Technical Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting for technical and government-cleared positions, working closely with internal teams to attract and hire exceptional talent.
Responsibilities
Owns the recruiting cycle process for technical and cleared roles from posting through closing
Identify qualified candidates, assess technical skills, ensure cultural fit, and validate credentials
Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines for upcoming and recurring roles
Use sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, Indeed, etc.) to identify and engage candidates
Partner with the HR Leader and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and desired candidate profiles
Coordinate closely with program management and proposal teams to ensure timely recruiting support for new and existing contracts
Maintain clear and consistent communication with hiring teams, providing updates on recruiting progress and candidate pipelines
Ensure postings and recruiting efforts comply with pay transparency, EEOC, and OFCCP regulations
Accurately document candidate activity and requisition data in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Support internal audits and maintain required documentation to demonstrate compliance
Deliver a professional, timely candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Coordinate interviews, feedback, and offers efficiently
Partner with HR to support smooth onboarding and transition for new hires
Stay informed on industry trends in defense and cleared recruiting
Participate in career fairs, networking events, and outreach activities to promote the employer brand
Share ideas to enhance sourcing strategies and strengthen our visibility among cleared and technical professionals
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
2+ years recruiting for technical roles (Cybersecurity, Developers, Support Desk)
Must display a collaborative, team-oriented nature
Ability to drive results independently
Proficiency in ATS utilization and sourcing tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Must be based in Indiana, or the Eastern or Central time zones
Preferred
Associates' or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or related field
Experience sourcing and recruiting cleared candidates (Secret, TS/SCI, etc.)
Knowledge of federal contractor recruiting compliance (OFCCP, EEO)
Prior experience supporting DoD, federal, or intelligence programs
Indiana-based candidates, the client desires someone willing to work/collaborate from the office located in Central Indiana occasionally (2-3x/month)
